2017 TRIBAL COUNCIL ELECTION of the Confederated Salish and Kootenai Tribes
In accordance with Article IV, of the Constitution and Bylaws of the Confederated Salish and Kootenai Tribes of the Flathead Reservation, Montana, approved October 3, 1981. Notice is hereby given that on OCTOBER 21, 2017 a PRIMARY ELECTION will be held for the purpose of electing the two candidates from each of the five Districts who will be eligible to be placed on the General Election ballot.
The following members of the Confederated Salish and Kootenai Tribes of the Flathead Reservation have been certified eligible by the Tribal Election Board as candidates for the PRIMARY ELECTION TO BE HELD ON SATURDAY OCTOBER 21, 2017.

POLLING SITES OPEN 8:00 A.M. TO 8:00 P.M.
All members of the Confederated Salish and Kootenai Tribes over the age of 18 years shall have the right to vote in all Tribal Elections providing they have physically resided for at least one year on the Flathead Reservation next preceding primary election. NO REGISTRATION IS REQUIRED.
All persons qualified to vote who are unable to cast their vote at their designated polling place on election day may, prior to election day request an absentee ballot from the ELECTION BOARD by submitting a written request.
The Election Board of the Confederated Salish and Kootenai Tribes, certify that the above-listed candidates are those who were certified, and that these are the only candidates whose names shall appear on the ballot of the PRIMARY ELECTION.
