Absentee Ballots

Thank you for keeping this election safer from COVID-19 by signing up for an absentee ballot and keeping the crowds down. The voting polls will still be open on election day for those who did not sign up for an absentee ballot.

So far almost 700 eligible tribal voters have signed up for absentee ballots. To receive an absentee ballot for this election, you must sign up this year, but time is running out to get an absentee ballot for the July 31 Primary. Absentee ballot request forms were mailed to everyone and the Char-Koosta runs an application each week that can be clipped out and mailed, or dropped off.

The CSKT Election office will not be able to get ballots to voters who submit their absentee ballot request forms later than Monday, July 26th. The staff will do their best but time is getting tight.

Those who have already signed up for the absentee ballot have until July 31 to get their ballot postmarked and sent to the CSKT Election Office.

The election takes place Saturday July 31 with polls opening from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. Whether you vote absentee or in person, please vote.
