CSKT ACTIVE FIRE INFORMATION on July 26, 2021

1600 hrs-The Confederated Salish and Kootenai Tribes have five active fires to date.   The fire danger on the Flathead Indian Reservation is at EXTREME.  Let’s eliminate Human-Caused fires! #BeOutdoorSafe

The Crooks Fire is a Type 4 incident located in the Jocko, 8 miles east of Arlee, MT.

The Gold Creek Fire is a Type 5 incident located in the Jocko, 7 miles east of Arlee, MT.  The fire is burning in steep & rocky terrain. 

The North Crow and North Crow2 Fires are Type 5 human-caused fires and are under investigation.  These fires are located 4 miles northeast of Ronan, MT.

The Finley Fire is located 3 miles northeast of Evaro, MT.  This human-caused Type 4 fire is 25% contained.
