Crooks Fire Update for September 21, 2021

Location: 10 air miles east of Arlee, Montana
Estimated Size: 3,986 acres
Containment: 60%
Personnel: 55

The Confederated Salish & Kootenai Tribes Division of Fire would like to inform the public that the closures for the Jocko and St. Mary’s Roads have been lifted.  The South Fork Primitive Area at the gate is still closed for the time being.  D.O.F. officials want to stress to the public that there is fire traffic still on these roads and to be cautious when traveling through the area.  There will also be a couple excavators piling along the main Jocko Road near Jocko Prairie this week.

Closures: The South Fork Primitive Area is closed.
