Reminder of the first of our series of virtual computer classes starting on Tuesday, October 5, 2021.
Tuesday’s class is PC Fundamentals, starting at 9AM on Zoom. This class was created to help those who have minimal computer experience or those who need a refresher class with the ever-changing computer world.
In this course we’ll start at the very beginning: learn about the various types of Windows devices; understand how to power your PC on/off; and discover important computer terminology and concepts to help you understand and converse with others. We’ll also explore basic Windows and File Management concepts so you can access tools and save files on your computer.
On Wednesday, October 6, 2021 is Email and Online Security starting at 9AM on Zoom. This class was created to help employees understand the difference between SPAM emails and actual emails. I think everyone should attend this class at least once.
Email and Online Security
Learn about the biggest risk factors that everyone faces when working on-line and how to avoid getting fooled, tricked, and compromised by following relatively simple procedures which strengthen your digital security. Topics include authentication, password best practices, social engineering, phishing, malware, and preventive and protective safety measures.
